“ Excellent breakfast spot! Great food and great service! Tried the loaded roadside potatoes and french toast. Both were delicious! Fast and friendly service. Will definitely be back to try more menu items next time we're in Santa Cruz! ”
“ We really liked the location as we could see the trees/forest from our dining spot. The service was good, and there a lot of appetizing food options. We opted for the following: Farm Omelette (a Valentine's special), Smoked Salmon Omelette, and the French Toast. The Farm Omelette came with an abundance of veggies and goat cheese and was okay in terms of flavors. I liked how the wheat toast was perfectly toasted and buttered. The smoked salmon omelette came with the smoked salmon pieces mixed into the egg instead of on top. The situation was the same for the Farm Omelette, which seemed more expected for me since I'm used to smoked salmon being not cooked into something. I appreciated how generous they were with the veggies. We also enjoyed the huge pieces of French toast, which were perfectly fluffy and sweet. Not mind blowing, but pretty good. ”
“ Heavenly Cafe is a charming spot that truly lives up to its name. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. Their menu has a great selection of breakfast and lunch options! ”
“ Satisfied Accommodating Clerk Convenient I'll go back for sure Ye ”
“ Very busy, but we were seated promptly and our orders taken quickly. The eggs Benedict is absolutely delicious, and everyone enjoyed their entrees. A few bumps in the road with undercooked pancakes, but they were happy to remake them and then we had no other issues. Food is always delicious, staff is very kind, and the menu is expansive enough to offer something for everyone. ”
“ We stumbled upon another gem thanks to Yelp: Heavenly Roadside Café. This charming spot was a delightful surprise as we ventured beyond Santa Cruz. Nestled off a winding hill, the café exudes a cozy country charm that instantly puts you at ease. The interior was immaculate, with rustic decor that adds to its inviting ambiance. As for the food, it was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish was prepared with care, bursting with flavor and vibrant ingredients. The portion sizes were generous, leaving everyone at the table fully satisfied. My mom chose the Belgian waffle, an impressive tower of fluffy goodness adorned with a medley of ripe bananas, luscious strawberries, and plump blueberries. It not only looked like a work of art but also delighted the taste buds with every bite. I opted for the Cowboy, a mouthwatering combination of a flaky biscuit topped with savory pork sausage, perfectly poached eggs, and creamy country gravy. Every element was spot-on; the sausage was flavorful, the gravy had just the right amount of richness, and the biscuits were light and airy. My daughter went for the Loaded Roadside Potatoes, a hearty serving of crispy potatoes smothered in melted cheddar cheese, sprinkled with fresh green onions and a dollop of sour cream, complemented by her choice of crispy bacon or savory sausage. The staff added to the experience with their attentive service and friendly demeanor, making us feel right at home. Without a doubt, Heavenly Roadside Café has secured a spot on our itinerary for future visits to the Santa Cruz area. If you haven't had the chance to check it out yet, I highly recommend making your way there--you won't regret it! ”
“ As said by their store name, a sweet little cafe by the road! We came here on a Thursday after Christmas around 12pm and it was packed! Parking was a little difficult to navigate since the lot feels a little small for the amount of people, but we managed to grab a spot. After waiting for about 15-20 minutes we got seated by their friendly staff. I got their cinnamon French toast, and it was yummy! Sweet enough to not add any maple syrup if you want, and also very fluffy! Despite the wait, we will definitely come back :) ”
“ While visiting Santa Cruz, we discovered Heavenly Roadside Cafe while looking up breakfast places. Such a hidden gem! I ordered a belgian waffle with fresh fruit and it was so crispy and buttery! The fruit was all fresh and delicious. My boyfriend ordered an omelette with bacon and avocado with potatoes on the side. It was a great portion and he liked it a lot! The service was great and the views were as well. ”
“ This is a cute cafe literally on the side of the road. I felt transported to a small town in the Midwest when I walked in. The service was great. People were friendly and attentive. Food came out fast. And they served breakfast dishes all day, so my friend and I both got breakfast for lunch! The portions were huge that I had to take part of it home. We even got their special lemonade with mango purée, which was perfect for a hot day. I knocked off a star only for the lack of A/C and decor, but those items are pretty small. I would recommend Heavenly Roadside to friends. ”
“ Nice roadside breakfast in Scott's Valley. Friendly staffs and good breakfast options, the salmon egg benedict is perfectly cooked. Recommended for breakfast/brunch in the area~ ”
